Lewis Ambrose (@LGAmbrose) has been Arsenal fan since birth with an interest in anything and everything to do with the club,.
He now contributes to Arseblog and attends games as regularly as possible despite life taking him to Berlin.
He also contributes to OneFootball.
When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?
I didn't have much of a choice when it came to supporting Arsenal!
My dad is a massive Arsenal fan and I was wearing the famous red and white before I could talk.
I've been wearing it ever since! Growing up with the incredible Arsenal sides of the late 90s and early 2000s, there was never any danger of me not catching the bug.
What was your first Arsenal match?
My first game was March 1998, Arsenal 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday. Of course it would be one-nil to The Arsenal.
My mum lived in Sheffield for a while before I was born and used to take my older brother to Hillsborough, so both are huge Wednesday fans and this particular fixture has more meaning in my family than probably any other.
We sat together in the North Bank, which would end up being my home at Highbury.
Something I'll never forget from my days sat in the North Bank (usually on top of my chair, with my feet on the seat, so I could see over the head of the person in front!) is the clattering of seats, from down by the pitch all the way to the back of the stand, as an Arsenal attack started and gradually approached the goal in front of us and people stood up in anticipation.
That's the greatest noise I've ever heard in a football stadium, and it always will be.
Who was your first Arsenal hero and why?
My first Arsenal hero was Dennis Bergkamp. How could it not be?
Even from a young age, it was so obvious that he saw things and did things that others couldn't.
He wasn't slow but he never seemed to run, he didn't have to. He saw the picture develop before others and you never knew when he might do something you'd never seen before.
When I went to the park or was in the playground or playing on a Sunday morning, Dennis was always the player I wanted to be like.
Who is your favourite ever Arsenal player and why?
I would probably at Bergkamp again but, as I've already explained why, I think I'll talk about Cesc Fàbregas instead.
Cesc was perfect. He was everything beautiful about how the game can be played, and he cared. As much as any of us. And he was so young! He's a few years older than me and to see a young player not just breaking into the team but quickly becoming the integral player was amazing. There was something that really resonated. Obviously it helped that he could do it all!
My little brother was mascot at Stoke in 2008/09 and we lost. The away end at their ground is right next to the tunnel and abuse rained down as the players left the pitch, most with their heads down.
But Cesc came looking for my brother, found us stood in the corner, gave my brother his shirt and apologised for the team ruining his big day.
People obviously decided he didn't care when he left for Barcelona and then later joined Chelsea but, to me, those were the actions of a man who knew exactly how much it means and shared that with us.
What is your biggest Arsenal regret/disappointment?
Biggest disappointment is a tough one. The Champions League would've been the ultimate crowning glory, and it's the one thing missing from our history.
It's between that and a league title since moving to the Emirates. I think 2007/08 was the finest football Arsenal have ever played, for long stretches.
That team deserved the title or a serious crack at the Champions League, which we were so cruelly denied at Anfield (and when a blatant penalty wasn't awarded for Kuyt dragging Hleb down at the Emirates) but alas.
As much as the 2006 CL would've been a crowning glory, winning the title with a young team playing attacking football just a couple of years after the stadium move would've been an enormous one too.
And we were so close. I still think we'd have pulled it off without Eduardo and Van Persie both getting injured through no fault of our own.
What is your favourite Arsenal memory and why?
This is a tough one. There are so many. So much history, ups, downs, moments of incredible relief.
Even though I knew it would be horrible to be locked out of the stadium for the last 12 months, I never thought it would last this long.
I never thought I'd go a year without watching Arsenal in the flesh.
I think, whenever it's possible, the next game I attend in a full stadium will become my favourite ever memory. Seeing dear friends again, sharing that day with them and with family. That will be something special.
What is your favourite ever Arsenal match?
Again, this club has so much history, there are so many games that spring to mind.
Games to win trophies or seal records, or just big wins against big opponents. But I think my favourite ever Arsenal game might actually be the 5-3 win against Middlesbrough in 2004 to equal Nottingham Forests's record of 42 top flight games unbeaten.
We entered the game feeling unstoppable, victory an inevitability.
On 53 minutes, 3-1 down after a quick Boro double, that air of invincibility had completely evaporated. I was certain it was all over.
By 65 minutes we'd scored three to retake the lead. And I had never been so sure that Arsenal were the best team on the planet. And by a mile.
