There's not much to say about last night's game that hasn't already been said, but I can honestly say I can't think of seeing a better game since the Gunners moved to Emirates Stadium.
The pace of the match was so relentless that even Gael Clichy suffered a bout of cramp in the dying minutes and I reckon quite a few of last night's players will have a well earned rest this weekend when we make the short trip to Leyton Orient.
But without being too long winded about last night, some of the Arsenal performances were just outstanding.
Jack Wilshere is only 19, FFS, but he was arguably the best player on the park last night. He very rarely conceded possession and even though we were playing what Cesc Fabregas refers to as the best team in history, the teenage Jack was as fearless as ever and always looking to drive forward.
Praise has also to be heaped on Laurent Koscielny, whose concentration at the back was fantastic and, of course, Wojciech Szczesny who pulled off a number of great saves to keep the Arsenal in contention.
Two outstanding goals courtesy of RvP and Andrey Arshavin sets up the second leg nicely, but before we start dreaming about Nou Camp in three weeks time, let's just mark last night's achievement with a vote for Man of the Match.
