After two impressive results, who should make Arsenal's rotation for Wigan game?

By Graham McNorthbank

The most impressive thing, for me, in our FA Cup replay on Wednesday was Arsene Wenger's decision to select and attacking line up to ensure our progression in the competition.

The return of Bacary Sagna after suspension bolstered our defence, but a superb goal from the right back was a real bonus and proves the old mantra that all of our outfield players are capable of scoring goals.

With Wojciech Szczesny between the sticks, Le Boss went for a starting line up of Sagna, Laurent Koscielny, Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs in defence; Alex Song, Denilson and Samir Nasri in midfield; and Andrey Arshavin, Nicklas Bendtner and Marouane Chamakh up front.

The team flowed and played some fantastic football, despite making six changes from the team that started against West Ham last weekend, where Emmanuel Eboue, Gael Clichy, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Robin van Persie all started.

The luxury of being able to bring Cesc and RvP off the bench against Leeds was tremendous, but given the impact both had on the game, I'd expect them both to start against Wigan tomorrow.

Le Gaffer says he will definitely rotate the squad given our fixture list of five games in the next 15 days. Thankfully with lots of players seemingly hitting good form at the moment, Wenger has some tricky, but enviable decisions to make.

But hopefully there isn't too much forward thinking going on. The old cliche of one game at a time would be good to bear in mind at the moment so we can maintain our challenge in all competitions.

Indeed, I'd hope that tomorrow's game sees the same 11 who started against the Hammers last week - with the exception of Sagna replacing Eboue - and if we can come through against Wigan without picking up injuries, perhaps the same team that put Leeds to the sword can be tasked with doing the same when Ipswich visit on Tuesday, perhaps with Eboue regaining his place.

As a result, my choice for tomorrow is relatively simple, but if you disagree, feel free to use our comments section below to share your thoughts.
