Thank God it's only Wolves tomorrow

By Avenell Dave

Another bad day for Arsenal's treatment room and just when it looked as if we were getting back some semblance of a squad, three players get injured and may miss the rest of the season.

Why Arsenal get more serious long term injuries than anyone else is the $64m question. No one knows.

Could it be that the pace and intensity of our play is to blame?

Look at the number of late goals we score and that says a lot about how fit the players are but also how much they are pushed to the limit and maybe their bodies just collapse under the demands Le Boss puts them under.

Remember, he tends to let forwards and speedy wingers leave earlier than other coaches do - and having seen Bob Pires score for Villareal at the weekend, his departure four years ago still seems premature: just look at what Ryan Giggs has brought to M*nure.

The fact is, we still have a fair squad, whatever others say and we should have enough to see off Wolves tomorrow, even though it may not be as comfortable as the lesson we gave them in November.

Somehow, if it was T*tt*nh*m we were facing tomorrow, I would be more concerned, but we still need three points, especially witH M*nure facing the Ch*vs (a draw would be nice please, and absolutely not a home win) meaning one of our rivals dropping points.

Gael Clichy was struggling for the last half an hour on Wednesday and I expect Armand Traore will come in.

Wenger needs to rest Sol Campbell for next Tuesday so Mikael Silvestre can come in and with Cesc Fabregas and Andrey Arshavin out now, it gives Samir Nasri a chance to take over as playmaker.

Despite his fine showing on Wednesday, I wouldn't start Theo Walcott. He has his limitations but he really does give us something different and yet he's so fragile that exposing him to a team of limited talent just means we risk him getting a knock.

Better to bring him on if things aren't going our way.

We all expect three points tomorrow, but complacency could be our biggest enemy.

What do you think? Who should start for Arsenal tomorrow?
