POLL: Should Szczesny be handed Arsenal's gloves for an extended run?

By Graham McNorthbank

If you're a long term visitor to Arsenal Addict, you'll know I've been banging on about the merits of young Pole in the goal Wojciech Szczesny for some time now, following his fantastic season on loan at Brentford.

The indifferent form of our leading keepers, Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski, has had many pundits and indeed scores of Gooners urging Arsene Wenger and the club hierarchy to crack open the piggy bank to invest some of our not inconsiderable wedge in a new goalie.

Le Boss has resisted such a move to date and the confidence he showed in picking Szczesny to start at Old Trafford the other night talks volumes about his belief in the youngster.

But what about us paying punters? Do we trust Wojciech enough to allw him to keep the gloves for a real run in the first team?

Purely in the name of science, click on the read more link below to access our poll and choose who you think should be in goal for the Arsenal going forward, starting with the visit of Stoke on Saturday.
