So the new season finally begins tomorrow at Goodison Park and all we can really be sure about is that Theo Walcott, Johan Djourou, Tomas Rosicky and Lukasz Fabianski won't be in the squad due to various strains and knocks.
Thomas Vermaelen should be fit enough to start though, meaning that our back four will likely be Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen and Clichy, although it'll be interesting to see if Gael can play a full 90 minutes given his recent back trouble.
Abou Diaby is a doubt for midfield, but that's not a huge loss as I reckon the best (or should that be, most balanced) we can start with, if we're looking at a 4-3-3 formation is Eboue, Fabregas and Song.
That leaves our front three. Personally I'm hoping to see Eduardo and Andrey Arshavin flanking Robin van Persie, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Nicklas Bendtner in the starting line up.
A win at Goodison would be a terrific start to the season, but as we all know David Moyes' men are no mugs, so it'll be a tough curtain raiser.
