Arsenal swept aside Villarreal last night to set up a tantalising Champions League semi-final clash with Manchester United in a fortnight's time and I have to say the manner in which we dispatched the Spanish was a joy to behold.
With three of the last four teams hailing from the Premiership, there should be no doubts that the English league is now the best in the world, especially given that this will be the fifth year in succession that an English team have made it to the final.
Let's just hope it's the Gunners.
Anyhoo, back to last night and who was our man of the match. The obvious candidates were Theo Walcott for his sublime Carlos Vela-style finish, Cesc Fabregas for yet another amazing pass for an assist and Kolo Toure for the way in which he led the Arsenal defence.
But for me, Alex Song was magnificent. He broke up every threat from Villarreal thatcame his way, he pushed forward whenever he could and he made simple passes to his team mates to begin wave after wave of Arsenal attack.
But the choice isn't up to me - that's your task, my fellow Addicts. So click on the 'read more' link below to access our poll and get voting for your Man of the Match now...
