So the curse of the international friendly strikes again.
This time, RvP, our in-form striker, is carried off and it doesn't look good, I have to say.
It's not the first time the Dutchman has been injured on international duty, having missed two months after picking up a groin strain in 07/08 while on Dutch duty and never really recovered that season.
It's even more worrying because of the integral role RvP has played in Arsenal's season so far, scoring eight goals for us already.
With Nick Bendtner out for a few weeks with a groin injury, Theo Walcott having hardly played for the first team, much like Carlos Vela, it puts a lot of responsibility on Eduardo.
Withe the Crozilian has the talent to be a leading striker, he hasn't looked himself this season, perhaps affected by the diving row after the Celtic Champions League game or the injury that ruled him out for 18 months or more.
With a big game against Ch*vski coming up, this is all we need.
What makes it all the more galling is that it's a pointless friendly match with no meaning whatsover.
Early reports suggest it's ankle knack.
You can watch the video of RvP's tumble and injury here.
Pray to your Gods, cross your fingers, do whatever you can...just hope the injury isn't too bad.
