I have to admit, I'm in a troubled state of mind at the moment.
Every report I read talks about West Ham having gone six or more hours without scoring against us and how their start to this season is as bad as it was the season they last got relegated.
But I also remember the Hammers winning at the Emirates three years ago and beating us at Upton Park the same season after Alex Hleb had had the clearest ever penalty appeal turned down. It was one of the worst refereeing decisions I have ever seen.
I recall being at the Boleyn when Paddy Vieira and Neil Ruddock came to blows and we lost a game that included nine bookings and two red cards, one for Paddy after that infamous spit.
And that's the thing about West Ham. It doesn't matter how bad they're playing, their players always seem to raise their game against us and despite our contrasting form, nothing can be taken for granted tomorrow.
Upton Park can be an intimidating place as any Gooner who has been there to watch us play will testify - and we can't afford to switch off as we did so blatantly against AZ Alkmaar in the week.
The main question is around who will play in goal.
Arsene Wenger seems to ahve given Vito Mannone his chance and I'd like to see him continue.
He made a mistake last week, but he also made a couple of superb saves and seems to be improving. Of course we cannot afford to groom players too much while still in the hunt for trophies, but the Italian has more potential than Manuel Almunia.
But the Spaniard is more experienced now and might get the nod. If he doesn't, his Arsenal career could be over.
Apart from that, I don't expect Eduardo will start the game, much as I think he is going to be vital for us if he gets over his niggling injuries. I suspect Manu Eboue will play, with Nick Bendtner and Tomas Rosicky still out and Samir Nasri not yet ready.
