Finally, Eduardo makes his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt in 2009 this evening when the Reserves travel to Stoke City.
Hopefully the Pottrs Reserves won't be as clogging and roughshod in their tackling as the first team were when we played there earlier in the season.
It must have been frustrating for the Crozilian, who faced Portsmouth Reserves more than a month ago.
Since that game, where Eduardo picked up a slight hamstring strain, he scored a hat-trick in a behind closed doors friendly, but has had no other chance to push for a return to the first team.
Eduardo has so many qualities we have missed lately. He can see a pass, score poacher's goals and spectacular strikes and we're a better side with him in it.
Of course, I' rather wait until he's absolutely 100% fit to ensure he avoids any complications, but at the same time, I'd love for Wenger to put him on the bench for Sunday and bring him on for ten minutes against Cardiff.
So go easy on him tonight, Stoke, please. Our season depends on it!
