A late late winner by Nicklas Bendtner gave Arsenal a deserved win over what must be the worst Bolton side I have seen.
I've never been a fan of Wanderers style of play, but I really feel sorry for their couple of thousand fans who travelled to the Emirates on Saturday, as Gary Megson even managed to out-bore Sam Allardyce with the way he set his team up.
The statistics at the end of the game say it all - Arsenal had 77% of the possession, compared to Bolton's 23%. And I reckon that was being generous on the visitors' behalf. They were stinking.
In saying that, it took the Gunners 84 minutes to break the deadlock, so we weren't exactly setting the world on fire, but when you're playing against a 10-man defence, that's hardly surprising.
Anyway, enough of all that as what I really want to know is who you lot ranked as the best player in Arsenal colours on the day. Gael Clichy got the nod in a number of newspapers and I reckon Kolo Toure should be in with a shout too because of his fantastic attitude and the way in which he was constantly speaking to his team mates.
Robin van Persie also put in a great display while Denilson was solid and substitute Carlos Vela gave us that shot of adrenalin that had been missing before his 64th minute appearance.
As usual though I'll leave it up to you lot to choose the Gunners' star man. Click on the 'read more' link below to access our Man of the Match poll and get voting.
