Play Fantasy Arsene Wenger - who will play against Pompey?

After the disappointment of Zat Knight's last gasp equaliser at Villa Park, the Gunners have a chance to give us some Christmas cheer this afternoon at Emirates.

Three successive draws is not a great return from recent matches - though draws against top-four Liverpool and Villa may not be disastrous results.

The side picks itself this afternoon.

With Manu Adebayor back from his undeserved suspension, I fully expect Arsene Wenger to revert to 4-4-2 with Abou Diaby finally getting his chance in central midfield.

If Arsene Wenger decides to go for caution, he may put Aaron Ramsey or even Kolo Toure in the centre to give some added bite, but Pompey are there for the taking.

Tony Adams, whose connections with Arsenal are so weak now that he was the only high rankingplayer to shun the Highbury send-off and he claims to be closer to Alex 'Rudolph' Feguson than Wenger, is never going to be a great manager.

In case you forgot, his side lost 4-1 at home to struggling West Ham, as they did against Newcastle and Bolton, drawing with West Brom in between.

If we cannot beat them, and beat them well, we might as well give up completely.

For the record, the Addict team would be:

Almunia

Sagna Gallas Toure Clichy

Eboue Diaby Denilson Nasri

Van Persie Adebayor
