The international friendlies are over and of course, with the season Arsenal are having, we've suffered the long-term loss of a key player after Theo Walcott dislocated a shoulder.
For those not in the know, it was Theo's left shoulder this time and not the right one that he had surgery on before. He has a hereditary problem with his shoulder joints, so it kinda begs the question as to why they didn't operate on both around the same time? Sure he might have needed a lot of help during the early days of rehabilitation, but that's what WAGs are for, isn't it and he might not be looking at three months out now.
With Walcott sidelined and Cesc Fabregas suspended for this weekend's trip to Man City, my poll for you today is rather simple: who do you think should take their starting places in the Arsenal team?
I've given you as many sensible options as I can think of - in other words I've tried to avoid using makeshift defenders in the centre of the park - and you can click on a couple of names, not just one.
Personally I think I'd go for Aaron Ramsey and Carlos Vela, with Ramsey playing alongside Denilson in the centre of the park, Vela going wide left and Abou Diaby playing on the right (he is right footed after all).
But it would also be good to see the likes of Jack Wilshere being unleashed for a Premier League fixture to see how he can handle the pressure, or even Fran Merida, who has been touted as a similarly capable player as Fabregas, although we're yet to see the evidence.
For the record, I reckon Arsene Wenger will play it safe and opt for Emmanuel Eboue, if he has recovered from his knee problem, and Alex Song.
Ignoring what Le Gaffer might do, I throw it open to you lot to choose who you'd like to see line up against City on Saturday. Click on 'read more' below to access our poll, make your choice, and cast your Vote...
