Arsenal achieved what many pundits thought was impossible last night by silencing the fierce Fenerbahce fans with a scintillating performance.
Five goals from five different players showed the Turks exactly how strong the Arsenal squad is, while the result strenthened Arsene Wenger's belief that his young Guns are capable of progressing to the latter stages of the Champions League tournament.
While there were a few indifferent performances - Denilson is the obvious one that springs to mind - by and large the Gunners put in a strong display, with Cesc Fabregas, Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott providing most of the threat to the Turkish defence.
Goals from Emmanuel Adebayor, Walcott, Diaby and Alex Song underlined Arsenal's domination, while 17-year-old Aaron Ramsey notched his first for his new club in style, thus staking a claim for more regular appearances in Le Gaffer's first team.
For my money, Man Of The Match has to go to Diaby, who not only was a constant thorn in the Turks' side, but also shocked me and my fellow Gooners watching the game by revealing he has a left foot.
But the destination of the Arsenal Addict Man Of The Match accolade is not up to me, so select your favoured player and click on Vote to make that all important decision.
