Well that's better, isn't it?!
Arsenal got well and truly back on track last night with a 4-0 mauling of Portuguese champions Porto whose even couldn't rely on a superhero to thwart the Gunners.
After a slightly nervy start, Arsenal broke the deadlock after half an hour when Robin van Persie showed a glimpse of the player we all know that he is by superbly converting a cut-back from fellow striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
It was plain sailing from then on in as both front men grabbed a brace and the Gunners sent out a message to their rivals that the Hull result last weekend was an exception, rather than the rule.
When it comes to individual performances, RvP was a stand out candidate, as was Samir Nasri who returned from injury and immediately reminded us just how much better he is than Alexander Hleb. Cesc Fabregas was a bit off the pace last night, but talking of speed, Theo Walcott looked unstoppable at times. It's a pity that he still doesn't have the composure to deliver a telling final ball, but if Le Gaffer and his coaching staff can solve that, then we'll have a world class player to talk about.
And I also have to mention Denilson, whose development continues to impress. The young Brazilian had an indifferent start to the season, especially in the away defeat at Fulham, but since then he has grown in stature on a game by game basis and on the evidence of the last couple of matches, he thoroughly deserves his place in the starting line up.
Anyway, the team worked wonders to restore the smiles on the faces of us Gooners last night, so as usual I'll leave it up to you lot to decide which of our stars deserves Addict's Man of the Match award. Vote now!
